Synopsis
The lawyer-turned junior hockey coach assembles his team and some new players to take the Ducks to a whole new level.
After leading the Mighty Ducks to victory, Gordon Bombay is at a loose end. Unwilling to go back to his law practice and unable to play hockey himself, he works in a sporting store. So when he is offered the chance to coach the US junior team in a series of goodwill games, he jumps at the chance. There’s only one proviso: he will choose his own team. So, assembling the best of the Ducks and a few new players, Bombay gets set to whip butt on the ice. However, his newfound celebrity makes him over-confident – something that will put the team at a severe disadvantage when they are pitted against the top-ranking Icelandic team. A box office hit that hits home the importance of fair play and teamwork.
